Dear all,
I am trying to implement my Doorbird doorbel within Home Assistant.
Let me first start by saying that I am very close with returning the device and purchase a Google Doorbel.
The documentation in general is horrible, found some topic here and there but without any straight guidelines.
I was able to connect my Doorbird with my Google Home Assistant.
I created an Automatization based on a trigger Standard option)
When the Doorbird button is pressed (2 option, trigger of IR, I tried both) then my speaker will play a sound and the picture if send to my google home hub screen.
This part Works when I manually start this automatization, speakers are ringing and picture is send to my screen.
The only problem I have is when I press the button on the Doorbird itself nothing happens…
I activated https calls and fixed the schedules times.
All Doorbird related events (last Ring and live view) is on my main screen.
I just can’t get the button working…
The preconfigured option is to set a trigger on the device.
I can select device >> Doorstation - nr >> Triggers: Doorstation - nr Relay 1 is pressed. (or IR is pressed)
This preconfigured trigger is not working.
I can also to a trigger event, but I have no idea how to create an event trigger based on the button of Doorbird.
It’s giving a headache at least…
Hope somebody has a proper guide or tips to set this up.
