According to this page:

there should be a “download data” ‘button’ on the right part of the screen when looking at the history.
For some reason that option is not available in my HomeAssitant.
I’m using the 10.5 HA OS
with the HA Core 2024.3.3
Any tips how to get it?

Solution is rather easy: install at least the April 2024 HomeAssistant version
I thought I was up-to-date, but it seems this version was “skipped”.
And make sure you reboot the full-system (and not just restart).
That’s probably (or, more likely, a cache clear) what caused it to show up for you, not the update to 2024.4.
I’m still on 2024.3 and can see the icon just fine
