Dreame X40 Ultra works well, but not single rooms

I have integrated my Dreame X40 Ultra with integration from HACS v2.0.0b16. I can see map and rooms from Lovelace and start am stop cleaning for entire home. But when I select single room and press play nothing happens, but it gives me back “unable to discover device over cloud”. Can you help me?

How did you integtrate this in HA?

As you can see i have 2 options. Both needs an Xiaomi Miio cloud. How did you solve this?

I updated the HACS Dreame Vacuum to 2.0.0b16. Now I have a third option see below.

When i fill in my email and password it is not working. Can i use my email or how did you integrate it?

i figured it out. In the dreamhome app you has to create a password. This is not related to the email adres. Then you can login whith the Account ID: PNxxxxxx and the just created password.

Where’s the option to create a password other then the account password?

I’m having the same issue. it just asks for my Xiaomi Miio account details and the Dreame login details won’t work, I’ve almost given up…

Restart HA after downloading the latest HACS Dreame Vacuum to 2.0.0b16. That worked for me.

Please let us know how to create app password

  1. Open the Dreamehome app
  2. At the bottom of the first page, there are 2 tabs: Devices and Me. Click Me.
  3. At the top right corner, there is a hexagonal button. Click it.
  4. Click Account
  5. Click Set Password

Then use this password as well as the account ID as the username in the HACS component setup flow.
