What does “drop i386” mean? I run HassOS as a VM on ESXi on a NUC which runs on top of an x386… what does i386 mean? Is it safe to upgrade?

You most likely run a 64bit system, which is named amd64

i386 = 32bit Intel & AMD
armhf = 32bit ARM

So they dropped support for 32bit platforms.
