DS-KD8003 - DS-KV8113 - DS-KV8213 - DS-KV6113 - DS-KV8413 and .... integration Hikvision HikConnect Video intercom doorbell

Hi @zolli07, I believe if you look at the global hikvision site, it takes an amalgamation of all the local sites (e.g. Europe, UK, etc). If I query DS-KV6113 I see 2 models

. Effectively one that has wireless capability vs one that doesn’t. Is your model the …PE1(B) and not the WPE1(B)??

Thanks, sadly I have the A hardware revision, the model number is the same except the (B) on the end. If I understand correctly the first gen have smaller flash chip size.

The exact model number is DS-KV6113-WPE1

@pergola.fabio I have thee DS-KV6113-WPE1(B) and have upgraded to this version.

ISAPI seems to work.

@zolli07 Hmm, I see that, I would reach out to the local HV support site and ask them when they planning on supporting. Leaves something to be said about their support model. :grimacing:

cool, join the isapi club

Hi, I’m new here.

I just purchased a DS-KD8003-IME1/EU and stared playing with it couple of hours ago. I want to add it to HA. But it looks like there are a lot of missing things.

  1. Reading the posts here, the button press cannot be recognized. I think that button initiates a SIP call. Maybe a SIP server could be installed in a docker and recognize the event from the SIP server.

  2. Also some feedback and a request for help. I try to do this:

curl --digest -u admin:passgoeshere http://192.168.1.XX/ISAPI/VideoIntercom/capabilities

and the output is:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ResponseStatus version="1.0" xmlns="http://www.std-cgi.com/ver10/XMLSchema">
<requestURL>/ISAPI/VideoIntercom/capabilities</requestURL>
<statusCode>4</statusCode>
<statusString>Invalid Operation</statusString>
<subStatusCode>invalidOperation</subStatusCode>
<errorCode>1073741830</errorCode>
<errorMsg>invalid operation</errorMsg>
</ResponseStatus>

Do you know what could happen?

I have also this problem:

curl -i --digest -u admin:passgoeshere http://192.168.1.XX/ISAPI/VideoIntercom/callStatus?format=json

I’m running firmware 2.2.3 and tested 2.2.45, but after uploading and restarting the device it sais it has 2.2.3 build 201202

I’m a bit lost. Maybe tomorrow…
Thanks in advance!

Isapi not yet supported on 8003, only remote open door…

I’m so so frustrated!

I decided to set-up a SIP server at home. That was not that difficult at all… but then, at a certain point I needed to set-up parameters to the DS-KD8003 to actually made the call.

I was unable to find how to do that. So I decided to go back to firmware version 2.0.8.

At that point. After the downgrade was finished. It was no longer possible to log into the device again. I could not use the old username/password and the password reset procedure in place required me to collect a lot of information about the device and complete a PDF form. Then submit that form to Hikvision support for a recovery key.

Actually, I purchased only the 8003 in the aim to be added to home assistant and avoid to purchase more devices, but it looks like I need also a DS-KH8520 (or similar) to properly set-up the DS-KD8003 and the firmwares are not very stable.

I also miss documentation about how to properly squeeze the provided functionality. I hope people from Hikvision is paying attention to what we write here.

Cheers
Ignacio

Strange, i had no issues with my 8003 setting up with SIP, i used free PBX…

But I stopped with it, since integration with HA with ISAPI is more easy…

What do you want to integrate? Why do you want sip?

The problem was not on the PBX side. Firmware version 2.0.8 allows for more configuration options, including SIP (standard) and proprietary. But Firmware version 2.2.3 and later only no longer supports SIP Standard. Only proprietary. There are less options available in the menu and I’m missing things like the SIP account (user and password) so it is not possible to move forward with it.

strange, i am running : V2.2.3_201202 , including SIP
i can register the 8003 without an issuse, and on the number page , i can add other SIP numbers to call, like indoor clients and linphone clients

some screens, for now i disabled SIP, the only issue i had was the “early video” i had no video, untill pi pickup the call…

@ihr I’ve had exactly the same issue, when downgrading from 2.2.3 to 2.0.8.
Password reset support was needed from my supplier. I’m currently back on 2.0.8 and planning to upgrade to 2.2.13_build210129

best to wait fotr updating, there will be a new firmware this month, a custom one that supports ISAPI

Shall you receive it privately, or will it be available publicly and where?

for now privately

but once i have it, i share it offcourse!

And when you buy cheap on AliExpress…no Service from Hikvision…

Hey, ok you confirm that 8003 Devices works with ISAPI?

“DS-KD-KK Video Intercom Nametag Module for DS-KD8003”

So we can use this in the next time to/with commands forwarding to SmartHome contracts/Shelly usw…iobroker when the 7 ring buttons pressed seperatly on the 8003 Device…

that would be great

edit: and this system 8003 works with only 4 Lines of the 8 POE…really?! :love_you_gesture:

Hey @Davimas , ISAPI already works on 8003, just not everything is supported …
Remote open door works for instance…

Yes, 2 pairs or 4 wires is enough for POE and data… so you can use other 4 for your Shelly’s…
Offcourse limited to 100mb , but more then enough for a doorbell
I have an ESP hooked up, so I can intercept a doorbell press for my automations … But normally not needed anymore next month
