DSC PowerSeries Neo or Honeywell Vista 20P?

So, I’m looking to replace alarm system, and want to eventually have some HA functionality with it.

I want to use wired sensors wherever possible and currently having an extension built so will be putting as many wires in as possible! I then also want wireless capabilities for some sensors for expanding the existing house.

Which of the above systems would you recommend, or any others?

I’m hoping this project will mean it doesn’t matter which for purposes of connecting to HASS, but still would like to know any experiences, especially seeing as the Neo series is new. https://konnected.io/

I have a DSC and a friend has a Vista. I found that the DSC was a lot easier to configure the Envisalink card for. I also think HASS polls the Honeywell where the DSC is more real-time.

I would look to confirm these points but that’s my 0.02.

Hi,

This the the powerseries Neo specifically though. I assuming you don’t have this as envisalink card doesn’t work with it.

Also I’m told this series is complex to configure lol, the chap at the distributor here in the UK said I might have to go on a 2day course!
