Duck DNS, how to provide the IPv4 adress?

Hi all,
i’m playing a little bit around with Duck DNS and Https.

My problem is, that Duck DNS doesnt auto detect the correct external ip. That is due to to LTE Internet Provider.
But the router knows the correct one and that is avaiable as an entity in home assistant.

So my first try is to use a template in the duck dns config.

ipv4: {{states('sensor.fritz_box_6820v3_lte_external_ip')}}

But this do not work. The config does not allow templates or my template ist wrong.

Anybody knows how to tell DuckDNS the correct IP?
