DuckDNS for two HA instances

I’m successfully running DuckDNS for my production system (VM on VirtualBox). Now I’m considering setting up a test system (another VM on VirtualBox) and was wondering whether I can use DuckDNS for more than one instance and simply different the target system via the port.

So the remote system connects to say .duckdns.org:8123 and .duckdns.org:8124 (or any port). Goes without saying that the router has to be configured accordingly to forward 8124 to the production IP and 8124 to the test IP.

Could this work?

It will work. I have my production system on :8123, and my test system on :443
