Dummy switch

Hey any pointers how to make a switch which I can control with automations? I just need it to be on/off so I can use its state elsewhere. Doesn’t have to connected to anything.

EDIT: I have migrated all my “switches” to an input boolean. More “standard”, not a custom component etc. Only downside is the “domain” is not switch. but input_boolean.

Use an input boolean.
