As you can see from the attached, there are two “Z-Waves” in Device Info. This results in all Z-Wave commands being sent twice. Any way to delete one of them?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Show a screen shot of what’s listed in Integrations > Z-wave like so:
Most people have 1 hub, you seem to have added yours twice. If two hubs are listed, click the configure button on each and show a screenshot of the configuration like so:
Here are the screens you requested. While I am not technically inexperienced (I retired in 1999 after 30 years programming large IBM mainframes), I admit that the innards of HA are beyond my Ken. I was having a great deal of problems with Z-Wave devices going unavailable, and I received the message on the hub configuration screen that recommended updating the firmware on my Zooz series 800 Z-Wave stick. Further reading indicated that this was iffy. I happened to have another Z-Wave hub from a previous foray into the world of Home Assistant and I thought I would just swap Z-Wave hubs. Needless to say this did not go as planned. Adding the new hub seemed to go OK up to a point. Then the load of network data from backup faile and I was left with essentially one-and-a-half Z-Wave hubs. I managed to delete the second hub (I’m still not quite sure how), but I was left with the remaining hub having two Z-Waves. This results in any Z-Wave command being sent twice. Thus, if the command is to toggle a device, the device turns on and immediately turns off again due to receiving dual commands.
Thanks for any help you can give.
I figured out how’s to delete one of instances of Z-Wave. All is OK now.
