Been looking around without much luck, but has anyone seen any GU10 or E27-base bulbs that have a ESP32, and can be flashed to use ESP home? It’d be pretty great if I could put (passive) BT proxies into my ceiling lights.
Tunable white or RGB(w) would all be fine
Seems like they’d be pretty optimally placed for trilateration, if Bermuda ever gets that feature built out, as they’d be in a great spot for line of sight to an entire room (or hallway.)
I haven’t seen an esp32 bulb at all.
Unfortunate! I saw an old thread referencing a E27 base, but it went to a dead Amazon page. Vont Color Pro SLB04-RCWV1 A19 RGB+CT | digiblurDIY
I wouldn’t recommend using a c3 for a bt proxy. It is single core.
Also, you ideally want Ethernet in a bt proxy.
There’s switchbot bulbs
As digiblur says, in relation to Bluetooth
has caused stability issues for some users - enable with caution
I’ll have to check those out.
