I bought this board to control and get status of my gate.

I followed this ^ blog to flash Tasmota but my board does not look the same. I don’t seem to have the GPIO holes to use my FTDI to connect it. Anyone else have this board or similar and was able to flash? All the photos I have seen online all have the GPIO pins as per the blog post.
Can I just power it with usb and then only connect the TX and RX to the ESP chip on the board?
