Numerous times over the last few years that I’ve been using HA I’ve had to resort to starting a fresh as my HA has got into a mess (my fault I suspect)
It would be fantastic if in the advanced restart options there was the option to Nuke/Factory reset
Now I’m running HA via an external SSD it has proven much harder to kill it and start again.
rm -rf /config/*
I tried renaming config/ via SSH but it kept coming back, even having stopped HA. Something I don’t understand so hence why I think a simple button is needed
Yes. There are many requests and votes for factory reset option in the Feature Requests category. Unfortunately the votes for such a feature are being split among all of those requests.
It would be nice if duplicate topics could be merged and their votes combined into a single topic so that it’s desire were properly reflected.
