New on HACS is my logging add-on that wires directly into HomeAssistant logging ( or any other events ). Emits OTEL logging in OTLP format or Syslog and works with OpenObserve, Vector etc for log aggregation.
Fully UI config flow, so zero YAML. And since it taps into events rather than scraping output there’s no multi-line problem, you get the full event including any stack traces as a single event.
Also useful to capture other events, with basic categories like action calls or state changes selectable in the UI, or enter any others you like. Works with Supernotify to archive the full notification debug trace. Can be used in conjunction with HAOS syslog collectors or other sources to get a complete view on what’s happening in your home lab.
