After restoring my configuration a week ago, something went wrong with the database (unrecoverable SQLite error). This caused all my statistics data to be lost, which was unfortunate. I still save all the long term data in an Excel file, but I would like to be able to import this somehow in Home Assistant (for example my energy and gas usage).
I’m going to up-vote, not because I need this specific feature, but because it’s yet another one of many good ideas for improving the whole Recorder / database architecture HA uses.
