Echo Custom Response

Hello!

I just got the Amazon Echo working with HASS and z-wave switches. By default, when you give the Echo a command, it comes back with the response, “Okay”. Does anyone know of a way to customize the responses based on what command you give outside of setting up custom skills such as seen on the Alexa components page? I thought I saw something like this before, but I can’t seem to find it again.

Yes, but you can’t do it with HAASKA. To use custom responses, you have to create your own intents. The post you want to look at is:
