Ecobee release door sensors that include room presence also. It would be great if this could be integrated in Home Assistant also.

Not if you switched your Home Assistant to a different device, wiped the old install, and forgot to unpair any HomeKit devices first. Now they are permanently paired to a non-existent device and cannot pair to any others without unpairing first…
How do you do this? The devices don’t show up for me.
