Looking for some help with my Ecobee via homekit. Last night it disconnected from HASS
Trying to set-up again but I can’t HASS to recognize it no matter what I do… Other Homekit devices work just fine still. Even an out of date version of HASS on another machine picks it up with no issue. Any ideas?
I found the problem. For a little more context I’m running it as a VM within Truenas Scale. I had to change the network adapter settings on the VM. I needed to check the box that says “Trust Guest Filters”. This allows for mDNS discovery, which was preventing new Homekit connections from being discovered.
