When I have ecobee integrated, home assistant keeps setting my “operation” to off. Meaning it turns off my heat or cool. I don’t have a single automation for ecobee or climate, I only use it to report the temps and humidity etc… into HASS. What gives?
When I remove the integration, all is well.
Anyone else notice this problem?
Just a guess, but is it possible that this happens when Home Assistant (re)starts? Perhaps the default mode on startup is off and it fails to restore whatever mode you had previously.
I have not rebooted, it seems to reset the setting about every hour. Possibly triggered by floors going from home to away and back? Either way it is overriding the ecobee settings.
After updating to 1.0 ecobee integration is no stable, I have to keep adding it after every restart.
