My Ecobee keeps my hold settings when manually setting temperature to 2-hours. Also, my home has a different temperature when heating as opposed to cooling. So, automating specific temperatures is not really a good solution for things like sleeping or being away.
I see there is a service “Climate: Set preset mode” that looks about like what I want and I configured it to my thermostat however; when I manually run it with Away, Away for now, or Away and hold (all options I have seen for the same thing in Ecobee, depending on the app in use (web or Android app), it does not seem to change.
Exempting anything custom and just talking about the defaults, does anyone know what text should be used in the “Preset mode” portion of the automation?
