Since the last update my Ecobee room sensors are extending the value after the decimal point by around 14 places.
Example:
Sowing:
73.75999999999999
Instead of:
73.7
Curious if this is related to the change from C/F to Metric/Imperial

Thatās strange, mine are only showing 1 decimal place per usual. Running latest dev.
Mine fluctuates, sometimes it will only show 1 decimal place, other times it throws out a bunch. Curious as to if Ecobee sends raw data with that many decimal places and it just isnāt rounding on the HA side.
Now Iāve always had two for each sensor since I have it tied into Wink and Wink also reports those, but Iāve kept those hidden since day one. Under dev tools the Wink versions donāt show that many decimal places, or at least what I still assume is the Wink version. They were always the _2 unless something change recently.
Iāve seen this with ZWave temperature sensors too, and it has been happening for many releases so I guess it isnāt related to the recent change.
Mine just started happening and Iāve had the Ecobee tied in since day one. Just odd and a UI annoyance more than anything. Doesnāt really break anything I have setup.
Could be different to my bug - I usually get something like 78.000000000001
I have seen this once in the platform sun, where temperature was very long with many digits after the decimal point. I observed this only after update to 0.26.1 not sure though thatās the root cause.
Hope this helps
Just added an ecobee around v0.25 and the first time I saw this was two days ago after upgrading. But it seems to be fine today. Will keep an eye on it.
Mine is fairly random, sometimes it shows fine, then randomly throughout the day 14 digits past the decimal. I have a feeling it was a bug introduced with one of the 0.26.X releases.
Here is mine I see it again.
I havenāt seen it on weather, are you using Yahoo weather? I still use forecast at the moment.
I see it now on one of my sensors:
I am using YR component for weather
My Nest thermostat is showing this:
77.5399999999999999999
seems to have started after the 26.x update.
I donāt know what the state is of this issue (i still see it open on Github with little or no activity), but I just wanted to infor, you that I have the same issue in my setup.
HASS 0.33.3
running native on a Synology DS411j (actually a tweaked DS409 which identifies himself as a DS411j)
I have the issue in
WeahterUnderground
Speedtest
Synology DSM Monitor
Intermittently (but very often), some sensors have 15 decimal digits.
