Has anyone been successful in changing the Ecobee climate mode (or preset mode as referred to in the component) though an automation or script? In the GUI, Action Type > Device does not seem to work as the menu items under Action and preset_mode jump around as I try to make selections, such that I can never have both “Change Preset on Main Floor” and “Sleep” selected together. I also tried Action Type > Call Service > climate.set_preset_mode; I would get the Triggered toast, but no effect on the device.
I would mention that I did not get the expected Ecobee card following configuration within HA. I also did not get the four new Ecobee-specific Services that the component instructions mentioned would be added. However, as the thermostat cards seem to otherwise work with the device, I am assuming it is in fact integrated.
Any insight is appreciated.
