Ecolink ZWave door sensors get combined

Having a strange problem I have never been able to figure out. This originally occurred some time ago, but I never got around to trying to fix it until now. I just recently rebuilt my HA setup from the ground up including resetting my Zwave stick to defaults and re-pairing all my Zwave devices.

But anyways… I have 2 Ecolink Zwave magnetic door sensors. I can pair one of them just fine and it works perfectly. However soon as I pair the second one, they get combined together in Home Assistant. Both sensors appear as a single zwave device in Home Assistant. So triggering either one will cause the singular device appearing in HA to trigger. Looking at the zwave properties, only a single Zwave device shows up for both with the same node number.

Even stranger, if I pair the first one and rename it, when I pair the second one it wipes out the rename.

Many, many HA releases ago they both used to work perfectly.

Any ideas?

Have you figured this issue out yet? I am currently having the same problem with the Ecoling Zwave Door Sensors.

I never did figure out the issue.

Both of my Ecolink ZWave sensors up and died recently, so I’ve since stopped using them. I have replaced them with the super cheap Wyze Sense door sensors.
