Ecowitt WH46D

Yesterday I received the ’ brand-new’ EcoWitt WH46D. In the HA integration not all the entities are present. For example pm1.0 and pm4.0 are missing, while pm 2.5 and pm10 are present. (how) can these be added?

Hi René, welcome to the forum!

Are you looking at those entities from an automatically created card or in the integration itself?
There are no entities in the integration that are disabled?

Are you sure that your model provides these values?

Hi,

I turned on the WH46D and it automatically connected to my Whether station display/gateway. (HP2564AE_Pro_V2.0.1). In HA, the Ecowitt integration showed the extra/new entities. But not all of them. I looked to the Device info / sensors, like the picture I shared.

Check that!

Yes, I see all the values on the WH46 (of course) and also on the ECOwitt display, and on the Ecowitt weather website.

From WH45 5-in-1 PM2.5/PM10/CO₂/Temperature/Humidity Air Quality Sensor

Uhm, It is the WH46D, but the HA thinks it is an WH45, which explains the missing.

So, now this has been clear  (Sorry for the confusion). How can the integration recognize it is a WH46D instead of WH45?

You too! :grinning:

What if you delete it and add it again manually?

i will try.

First made backup, removed Ecowitt, restarted, created Ecowitt, updated the gw connection, I got no entities (anymore). After a few tries (with new api keys), I restored the backup. It works again as at the beginning. So no clue (yet) about the wh45/wh46 mismatch. I’ll ask the question also in the EcoWitt Discord
