Editing HA Thermostat card to work correctly with Tuya Thermostat

Hello everybody.

Please bear with me because I just started with HA a few days ago.
Running HA 2022.11.5 on an Odroid N2+ installed using the HassOS image.

So I have a Tuya thermostat, I installed the Tuya integration and made an account on the Tuya IoT Platform. This is all working correctly.
On the Tuya website I changed the Instruction Mode from Standard Instruction to DP Instruction to get a bigger instruction set for thermostat.
On the Tuya website I can see the extra instructions and when I download diagnostics for the thermostat in HA I also can see the extra instructions in het diagnostics file.

So what do I want to achieve?
Below is a screenshot from the Tuya website with on top the thermostat card in HA.

On the HA thermostat card set temperature, current temperature and temperature control is working correctly.
But the red encircled power button is only turning the thermostat off, and not back on again. The “switch” on the Tuya Debugging page is working as expected and does turn the thermostat back on.
And “work_state” which shows if the radiator is powered works correctly on the Tuya page, but the HA thermostat card always show “off”.

I figured I had to change some configuration files, so in HA I downloaded the Studio Code Server add-on to take a look at the current configuration of het thermostat card and to edit it. But all I see is a lot of nothing. It probably is a pretty noobish question, but I have been googling for it for so long that I gave up. So how do I find and edit the configuration file of the thermostat card to make the power button and work_state work correctly with my thermostat? Any help would be appreciated.

Kind regards,
