I have my ELK M1 Gold set up with HA and most things seem to work as expected - I can see the state of alarm sensors and they update in realtime. I’ve been able to build automations based on the state changes of sensors with no problems.
However one problem I’ve not been able to solve is that when I try to arm my system in any of the available modes, it just shows the flashing “Arming” state forever and never actually goes into the “Armed” state. The alarm system, however, does actually arm after the delay time. This is true whether I try to arm it via the Lovelace UI in HA, or by physical keypad.
One clue is that I do see it briefly blip into the “armed” state before it goes into the “arming” state. The log shows this as well. I’ve waited a couple minutes to see if the state eventually changes to “armed” but it never happens.
I have my M1G, M1XEP and keypad all running the latest firmware, and as far as I can tell I have all of the global settings in the RP software correct for working with HA.
Any ideas for what I can explore to further debug or fix this?
