Trying to troubleshoot a problem with a MQTT switch turning on randomly. Any suggestion in how I can subscribed to and monitor published traffic. It was not an issue with the pre HASS.io versions using SSH. Just not sure how to do with with HASS.io since MQTT is now embedded.
Use an MQTT client like MQTT Explorer.
It subscribes to all of the broker’s topics and displays them in a tree-view. Each topic’s current payload is shown as well as its history. You can also publish messages and easily delete retained messages.
