eMMC to SD on Pi3, anyone tried it?

Hi!
My RPi3 Hassio have broken two SD cards now and it’s a pain every time this happens. So i found this
converter from microSD to eMMC but would be nice to hear if anyone have tried it and have any feedback on it?

I use simple USB sticks for a long time now without any issues. The Pi 3 can boot from USB easily.

But Hassio works only with SD

Interesting too

You sure? Never had HASS.IO on the RPi but used Docker with Raspbian. The OS image is „burnt“ the same way to USB as with an SD-Card.

Yes, I’m sure. Using Hassio with RPi and made some research about how to install it to USB. Some restrictions of HASSOS. When it was on RESIN-OS it was possible

Okay, sorry then.

Maybe should have written that im running Hassio on HASSOS
I just got the feeling that eMMC should be more stable then an SD card, not sure if that believe is true thou. Right now i have halted my use of HA due to the problem with reliability/stability over time.
