Empty space when hiding header with Browser Mod

Hello,

I am using the HA companion app (running on an Android tablet) with Browser Mod to hide the header bar at the top of the dashboard. Since last week, an empty space is present where the header bar is located (see screenshot), while this was not the case before.

I have tried turning the feature in Browser Mod on and off again without success.

Any idea what might be happening ?

I use kiosk mode from HACS for this - it’s easier to show/hide top/side bar when needed (just create boolean helper and toggle it). I’ve had some strange experiences with browser-mod functions other than page navigation and popup - these two work fine, others not so much ( media player still doesn’t work as it should), so i found alternative.

This works well thank you. It seems a little more convoluted to get a per-device configuration than Browser Mod but I will figure it out.

Yes, it’s more complicated, agreed, but also has more options. You can hide pretty much anything… like top-right icons etc…
