Emulated hue seems to be broken on HASS 0.44

I have google home and amazon echo, I used shenning00/emulated_hue to running both at the same time. however, when I succeed update HASS to 0.44 version, it does not working. Anybody has solution to run both device use emulated hue component?

Same… eager for news on this.

Oopppsss, will not upgrade until is solved …

Ahhh, you just fixed it … and a day after is broken, too bad

Lol, right! All good for now, not shut down our anything

The household is very use to using Alexa for all the lights and music now so as long as they work I am good.

Are you all using @shenning00’s emulated_hue?

I think they both do

Okay then this doesn’t appear to be a problem with 0.44’s emulated_hue specifically, just that external custom component. We didn’t have any emulated_hue changes in this version. Just wanted to check. Might want to bug @shenning00 either here or on his Github issues.

I changed my configuration.yaml back to my old (Alexa only) setup and changed the name of the custom_component and my Echos are working again. I don’t have an actual Google Home yet so I was just getting it ready.

I will of course want to get this working again as I do plan on adding a Google Home & RPI Google Assistants.

WIth this the pi3 can be BOTH Google Home and Alexa, and have (separate and customizable) wake words

I saw this earlier and it looks cool. I also noticed that it specified 3.5mm headphone jack. Will it still work with a USB speaker?

yes, it should

Wouldn’t I still need multiple emulated hues? How does it connect back to HASS?
