HA Configuration:
Home Assistant Blue / Hardkernel ODROID-N2/N2+
Core: 2025.10.3
Z-Wave: usb-Nabu_Casa_ZWA-2_80B54EE233F8-if00
HA was showing a Firmware update available (5.51) for my 2 Enbrighten Z-Wave 3-Speed Fan Controller Wall Switches. One of the new features is an adjustable LED parameter. I ran the updates and performed a re-interview. The new LED parameter showed up and is functional.
However, HA is now showing the installed firmware as 0.51 and is again showing an available update to 5.51. I reran the firmware update again but it has just repeated the same indication as having 0.51 installed.
Iām not sure where the problem lies so Iām just starting with raising it here.

Same here. I found somewhere online to try pushing the top paddle 3 times, followed by the bottom paddle 3 timesā¦but this did not help. I am going to try using the power cut tab and ārestartā the controller before attempting the firmware update again.
Iām having the same issue with mine. One of them locks up and I have to re-power the switch. None of them are updating. While observing the update I noticed the percentage would get to 88 percent or so and the window would just vanish. A few moments later it would show back up as needing the update. I decided to use Simplicity this morning and attempt to diagnose and possibly update. Iām just not finding a happy way to do this.
Functionality remains ok as of this morning.
I just noticed that Simplicity reports āOTA Firmware Initialization failedā when checking for new firmware.
Iām going to put it back in the controller and let the HA gurus figure this out.
