Enclosure for Zigbee relays / dimmers

I have a collection of small Zigbee relays and dimmers which I would like to install above light fittings in the ceiling. They are 42×42×22mm, and unfortunately have exposed screw terminals, so I would like to put them in small flame-retardant enclosures which could be posted up into the ceiling space through the hole where the lights are.

There are things like Wagoboxes (or other brands of junction box), which are sized so they can be posted into the ceiling space, but these all seem to be slightly too small in one direction of another to accommodate the Zigbee device.

Has anyone found any suitable boxes for this, which are available in the UK?

Thanks.

Most of the electronic wholesalers will have a range of fireproof rated enclosures to meet your needs.
Farnell, Element 14, DigiKey, RS Components, Mouser, Arrow, Rapid spring to mind.
Be aware if you use metallic ones of Faraday Cage shielding issues. A little chimney to keep ceiling insulation away from the devices will also be a good investment, depending on how much heat you expect them to contain.

Yes, already looked at Farnell and RS, amongst others… I must admit, I can’t really see anything suitable, but it is pretty hard to judge since they never seem to quote internal dimensions!

I saw these on Amazon

Caution - Most building codes require junction boxed to be accessible. That means not behind drywall or plaster walls. If you can access the boxes in the ceiling from the attic, you are OK.

Yeah, way too big. As I said, these need to be posted up through a hole into the ceiling, so need to be about 50mm external.

That’s tiny for an off-the-shelf solution. 3D print your own design.
