Encryption - not able to map ports

Hi,

Really hoping someone can help. I have a sky router but I don’t appear to be able to map an external port to a different internal port. Because of this I don’t believe I can set up let’s encrypt and encrypt my home assistant.

Does anyone know of a way round this?

If so, follow the guide to forward the ports you need.

Thanks. It is a similar router and I know how to forward a port. The problem is that it doesn’t let me map an external port to a different internal port. It just lets me select that start and finish port if I want to open up a range of ports.

Is there a problem with the default port? 8123

If you can only map an external port to the internal port with the same number, then follow the guide but instead of 443 - 8123, do 8123 - 8123 and use the url

https://YOUR-URL.duckdns.org:8123

It will still be secure, and will work as expected. Hope this helps.
