If you are starting out writing automatons, do it in the automation UI editor and once it works, look at the YAML to see what it should look like.
There are numerous indentation and syntax errors, and that is an automation that can only be in automation.yaml, not in configuration.yaml.
The best way to learn is to just try. Run thru the docs on getting started with the automation editor. If you get stuck, come back with what you have done.
