Energy Dashboard not showing data for today ... Power dashboard is

Hi there, it is 10AM, that is maybe the reason (??) but I see the energy dashboard is not showing any data yet (Wh / kWh), where the power dashboard is …

could it be the reason that it doesn’t have enough data yet to display something ?
It is calculated based on the power consumed over time … but it is already 10am so I was guessing to have some information already ?

What do you think ?

P.S. there are no issues with my sensors, as I say above, they show real time power measurement …

Many Thanks !

Do you see any errors related to the energy dashboard or your energy sensors?

The card config only contains the below?

type: energy-distribution

How does your energie dashboard looks like?

It looks like it stopped yesterday afternoon … the only thing I did was to set a fixed IP address to HA, but I do not see the “link” …
the Power is still reported … but just the energy is not reported anymore and all shows “0”

My energy dashboard today (ALL EMPTY) :

My energy dashboard, looks like it stopped yesterday afternoon between 2 and 3PM :

In the logs, I now only have those error messages as of 14:12:36 :

But I can not understand the meaning …
I will try to restart the HA for now, if you can try to clarify what those things could be ?

P.S. I have restarted it and still nothing showed in the Energy dashboard for the moment, but the details shows like it is restarted now (see it stopped around 2PM yesterday, and started again like this evening 22:20 after the reboot of HA :

Many thanks !

Looks like a Shelly device is unreachable.
What power sensor you are using? Shelly??

If the sensor is going offline because of a bad Wi-Fi connection, then the dashboard get’s no data right?

No, it is for sure not a shelly issue because

  • the shelly shows data during that period of time
  • during that period of time, the shelly was giving power values, LIVE (only the energy was not calculated by HA)
  • the shelly is not wifi but it ethernet and connection was stable

I am 90% sure this is related to the IP change on the HA (from DHCP to fixed IP) … but I can not understand the impact on the energy calculation by HA.
I also do not understand those error messages in the HA log after I have changed the IP to fixed IP.

Hi,
did you ever manage to resolve this issue?
I have exactly the same Problem, though it does not seem to relate to network configuration.
