After an update (i suppose) the energy dashboard stopped working. My entities show values, so the P1 cable is working.
I restored a backup to a previous version 2023.1.7. But still no data on my energy dash.
Cannot find anything in my logs. Searched this page, found some other tipics, but without luck.
Anyone an idea what could be the issue?
I see the same. My dashboard stopped working.
For march 2nd I have all values but starting from march march 3rd at 00:00am no values are shown anymore.
The sensors itself providing data. It is just the dashboard which does not show any data.
I’m also pretty sure I have not installed any path on midnight
I installed 2023.3.1 on march 2nd. But in the morning.
I updated to 2023.3 on March 2nd (and got the Thermostat bug), and then updated to 2023.3.1 on March 3rd noon. I have correct values on Energy dashboard for the whole March 3rd, but for the next day (today) there is no data being shown.
Meanwhile, I found a strange behavior: on the Energy Dashboard, for all filters (day, week, month), if I click on the left arrow to see the history back, it only shifts the start date, where the end date is frozen on the current day.
SO, this is the reason we cannot see the current day, because the end date is not changing.
I’m going to update the Github ticket with this additional information.
Over here my dashboard was working fine until the 2023.3 update.
It seems that after upgrading to the later version 2023.3 something goes wrong.
Now I get a very high energy usage,
the value of 45MWh seems to be the sum of my totals with both high and low tarif usage (Eneco Netherlands)
On thing is for sure, if I get an invoice for my energy usage I am bankrupt
But how to fix this error, I would not be really happy I my history would get lost after starting with a clean setup.
Well, if nothing else works…
Did you try turning it off and on again?
I read about just restarting HA, and that seems to has fixed the problem but data was correct a day later and not for the same day.
guess I just need to fix the previous days so the avarage power used is matched with regular days
Modified the statistics under the development tools, I removed/changed the 25000kWh entries, now the energy usage is more realistic.
I had another bug according to this one here and i think this is resulting this issue on my end:
A few days ago i had the problem that my recorder wasn’t starting up properly…
I increased the storage on my database-server (Proxmox) and it started working again.
But since then my energy-dashboard isn’t working anymore.
FIX: I reinstalled my database, switched to postgres and it’s working again. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
