In the ENERGY DASHBOARD - Energy configuration, i want to add my solar forecast from ‘open meteo solar forecast’. But not able to find it in the list.
I have 3 solar panel installations and created a helper who adds up the actual production from the 3 installations … so far so good.
Now i want to add this helper in the enery dashboard under ‘solar panels’, but cannot find the helper there …
Who can help pls?
Solar forecasts cannot simply be helpers, they are provided by integrations that provide an hourly forecast for the upcoming day.
The only one I am aware of that does this is Forecast.Solar, but in theory another integration could be coded to be a forecast provider as well I think.
I have 2 arrays set up in Open Meteo:
and this is the config in the Energy dashboard, it sums them for you:
Have a look at the forum post for the Open Meteo Solar Integration, it also has template sensors to combine arrays
hi, thanks support, but how do you get this ‘GivTCP PV Enery Today kWh’ sensor in your energy dashboard? Did you make a template senor? If so, can you give me details pls? Tx!

ah ok … i would like to use figures from the ‘solar forecast’ integration as a proxy for my solar production. But i am not able to do it … Tried already quiet a lot, also via Template sensors, but no luck 
Always get an error …
That error is you have an extra " at the end of your template that needs to be removed.
