Energy Dashboard - Toggle between power and cost for Individual Devices charts

In the Energy Dashboard we have our utility cost defined which works out the cost of energy consumed for the period selected in the “Sources” card.

What would be excellent is to have a toggle on both the Individual Devices charts: “Total Usage” and “Detailed Usage”, so that the energy used per item can be switched to a display of monetary cost instead of the kWh used.

Optionally a card setting so that the user can set the display default for each chart.
That way the user can instantly see the information they find most useful for devices on entering the dashboard.

Currently both charts display only kWh consumption

Thanks for the prompt.
I thought I had

This is also exactly what I am missing in the Energy Dashboard.
An overview of devices with consumption and costs in an overview.

+1 for me.

I would love that option but I have also given up on how to define how that can be done… It seems almost unsolveable!

I have Solar panels and just now, these are charging my batteries. That’s simple so far but how about when the batteries are used as source?

Part of the charge in the batteries is from solar but it has also been charged during periods of the Night (when it was cheaper than later) - what is the price of such battery charge?

… And what if the solar panels are only used for charging the batteries while the house is sourced from the grid (because no inverter loss is then imposed and the grid is cheaper than later) - id the price then solar or grid - now or later???

In other words: The history of the charge seem impossibility to track to make sense…

And then the tariffs during the day/week also have to be taken into account…:exploding_head:
