Hi, my Rpi running HA was frozen and as I was OoO I could only reboot my rpi 12h later.
Now everything is working fine again but I noticed that my energy is reported in the wrong timing. Basically solar production is reported in the night.
How can I fix this towards the future? ( I don’t mind this error for a few days in current month).
I have the same issue. Also solar production in the night according to HA. Didn’t restart HA and running it in a VM on Proxmox. I have a solaredge converter which reported no data from approx 14:00 (Europe/Amsterdam) yesterday but today the solaredge graphs were ok again. Also my colleague who has a simular setup has the same issue as me.
Hi, same here.
The issue with SolarEdge is due to the fact that their Servers were down… (and still have some issues with the reporting).
For solar edge, the inverter does save the production details internally - and send them to the monitoring as soon as possible.
Then - it might take some time for SE to update the information…
This is, when the sensor in HomeAssistant will be updated again.
And it could be, that it is during night-time.
The same applies, when HomeAssistant itself is not responding … and as soon as the system is able to update the sensors, the statistic will be created.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a “nice way” to correct these things…
I’ve tried to recalculate the production, imported and exported statistics by changing and recalculating the entries in the SQLite Database directly (just collected the hourly production information from the SE api directly and did some math…)
Since this did not turned out as I wanted (due to other factors) I’ve just deleted the SQLite DB and the system created a fresh one.
I consider to switch from the WebApi again back to the local ModBus communication to fetch the data even in the case, the Monitoring Platform is down.
