I’m using tuya-based energy meter via localtuya integration. Everything was working fine for the past 6 months, until a few days ago I started seeing random drops in the read values in the meter.
This is how the raw absolute number value of the energy utilization counter looks like now:
I compared the times where the “drop” happens with tuya data (10 out of 15 times it happened so far it drops to the same exact value, five other “drops” are random, but never lower than the lowest one observed) - these values were not registered by the device nor uploaded to tuya cloud so it seems to be some local bug.
This of course creates havoc on my utility meter which registes hundreds of kWh every time a drop like that happens.
Two questions:
1/ how can I track the bug assuming it’s a locally occurring weirdness?
2/ how to configure utility meter to ignore these weird datapoints and keep using absolute values as it always used to?
