As can be seen in the screenshot e.g. the “Current Gas” value is Unknown as well as several other variables. Their app does show this value correctly.
Does anyone have this working correctly?

Authentication failed: Timeout occurred while communicating with Huisbaasje
How can I increase that timeout?
It seems the integration just isn’t that well thought out, because it seems to assume that once something has timed out once, that it will forever timeout, which is wrong.
Same error here. Worked fine for several months but since last HA update shuts down every few days. After removing integration and add it again it works fine for a few days.
Hi,
Are there any updates on this?
I just activated my EnergyFlip. But their app is very (VERY) basic. All you can see is the amount of GJ used. Nothing else.
I’d like to couple it to HA. Is this integration usable at the moment? Or will it just give me migraines? =p
Thanks!
Until the most recent release of Home Assistant it causes migraines. I just upgraded myself, but I looked at the code and it has certainly improved. I expect the migraines to be over, until the idiotic management of EnergyFlip breaks things again.
For anyone with a modern smart meter, EnergyFlip is an inferior device.
Unfortunately I don’t really have a choice. My energy company installed it to monitor my energy usage remotely for billing.
After getting in contact with them (the energy company, not EnergyFlip), they did say the EnergyFlip has a P1 passthrough/output. There are 2 obstacles though:
The connector is a non-standard Rj50 plug.
The EnergyFlip firmware is not outputting the P1 data yet.
They said a (OTA) firmware update should be pushes within a couple months and they will send me a RJ50 => RJ12 cable. So when that all is done, I’ll connect a Wemos with Esphome DSMR on it and I should be golden.
