enOcean refactor planning

Given that the enocean refactor has begun, I would like to know the planning (aproximately) of what remains to be done.
The first phase of the refactoring did nothing for compatibility it seems, and my items are not working better now than they were before.

With previous enocean module (pre-refactor) I had custom code running locally to allow more enocean items I have at home (Nodon soft remote, Nodon door sensor).
Since the refactoring, my custom code ceased to work and crashes, and I haven’t checked why yet, as maybe the refactor is close and I should wait for it better than keep fighting with custom code.
