Entities list empty

In the front end, under settings devices and entities, my entities is empty. I know they should be there, I have rather a large number (several thousand). I suspect the front end is trying to load them all, it should maybe only be loading a page or two at a time, and more as the user scrolls?

I’m having the same issue. I can see all the list items using the Home Assistant app on my iphone, but not on the web in Firefox or Edge. I believe it’s a browser issue, but inspecting the traffic it doesn’t look obvious why the lists are empty.

I have noticed if i leave the window open long enough, it eventually errors with an out_of_memory screen

Oddly, accessing it on another computer also works - the entity list shows up immediately. This is the same Windows 11 operating system and Firefox with same plugins. Very strange.

I’m still seeing this, now on another computer. Really annoying, because it seems to not matter what browser I use and not enough people affected by it to get enough attention to troubleshoot it.

I tracked it down for me - It’s the Windscribe plugin, specifically the “Worker Block” setting under “Privacy”. Even when it’s not connected to a VPN endpoint, it was still blocking workers and that’s apparently required for the UI for Homeassistant.

Glad I found my fix, but it’s not likely to be common. I recommend just disabling extensions until you find one that affects it.

This fixed my problem aswell. Just turning off the “Worker Block”, within settings of Windscribe extension fixed the issue.
