I know this topic has been discussed before but I haven’t been able to find any recent threads.
Would love any thoughts that you have that could help me make the best decision for my situation.
I moved into a house with a Honeywell system and (for the foreseeable future at least) I intend to keep the existing panel and central monitoring service. That means I’m choosing between an Envisalink 4 or a Konnected Alarm Panel Interface Kit (the Konnected would cost almost 3X as much but I’m trying to choose on merit vs. on price).
One thing that looks weird that I’d love some clarification on: When comparing the Konnected integration docs vs. the Envisalink integration docs, it makes it seem as though the Konnected integration only exposes the sensors but doesn’t actually let you change the alarm state (armed, disarmed, etc.)? Wondering if this is just an oversight, if not that makes my decision a bit easier as I’d just go with Envisalink. Thanks in advance!
