Error during initial Install on Raspberry Pi 5

Hello everyone.

I’ve been trying to install Home Assistant OS on the Pi5 for two days and keep getting an error. Here is an excerpt from the log:

24-02-15 22:30:38 INFO (MainThread) [supervisor.resolution.fixup] System autofix complete
24-02-15 22:39:00 ERROR (MainThread) [supervisor.docker.interface] Can’t install ghcr.io/home-assistant/raspberrypi5-64-homeassistant:2024.2.1: 404 Client Error for http+docker://localhost/v1.43/images/ghcr.io/home-assistant/raspberrypi5-64-homeassistant:2024.2.1/json: Not Found (“No such image: Package raspberrypi5-64-homeassistant · GitHub”)
24-02-15 22:39:00 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.homeassistant.core] Error on Home Assistant installation. Retrying in 30sec

What’s going on here? Everything is at default with completely new as card :-(((

AFAIK, support for HAOS on rpi5 is beta at best

Ok but several users are running it on a pi

With out of the box HAOS?

Ive got a new install on a pi5 is failing as well. Where did you find those logs?

At the install screen in browser you can toggle on the logs

Yes, HAOS 11.5 running fine on Raspberry Pi 5. I originally used a microSD card, while waiting for my Geekworm NVME Hat to arrive. It is now running booting HAOS 11.5 off of a Samsung 970 EVO without any issues.

Ok. Looks like the 2024.2.1 image for raspberrypi5-64-homeassistant was not tagged, indeed, but 2024.2.2 is.

OP should re-install, I guess.

I’m experiencing the same issue trying to update from 2024.6.3 to 2024.8.2 on a Pi5.

Message:

"2024-08-21 21:04:27.664 ERROR (MainThread) [supervisor.docker.interface] Can’t install ghcr.io/home-assistant/raspberrypi5-64-homeassistant:2024.8.2: 404 Client Error for http+docker://localhost/v1.45/images/ghcr.io/home-assistant/raspberrypi5-64-homeassistant:2024.8.2/json: Not Found ("No such image: ghcr.io/home-assistant/raspberrypi5-64-homeassistant:2024.8.2")"

What to do??

EDIT - found the issue. Had completely forgotten that I used an old 16GB SD card to do the install. Logs do not mention the update fails due to lack of disk space. Got a new 256GB card, update runs flawlessly.
