Error fetching Cognito keyset: Cannot connect to host cognito-idp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com:443 ssl:None

I am seeing the following error in my logs
Error fetching Cognito keyset: Cannot connect to host cognito-idp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com:443 ssl:None

I am un able to connect to the HA cloud. I have seen some posts related to this and they talk about docker IP6 issues, tried a couple of these fixes but still not working.

can some one please exlpaing clearly what you need to do on Hassio to fix this issue

When i try to sign in to the Home assistant cloud i receive this message
Unable to reach the Home Assistant cloud.

I am also getting the “Error fetching Cognito keyset:” flooding my log. I don’t get the error message about not being able to reach the Home Assistant cloud, but my google assistant seems to be having trouble controlling HomeAssistant.

Yes having the same problem with Google assistant alos have trouble connecting to Ring and DarkSky

for me it appears to be a dns issue. I changed to 8.8.8.8 and this error went away

Where did u change that? are you running it with docker?
