Error message I'm stumped

I’m new to using Node-Red, and I’m still finding my way through the basics,

This error continues to appear and fills my debug pane - :

28 May 08:50:37 - [error] [server:Home Assistant] Home assistant connection failed with error: Connection to home assistant could not be established with config: https://hassio.io:8123

28 May 08:50:37 - [error] [server:Home Assistant] Home assistant connection failed with error: Connection to home assistant could not be established with config: https://hassio.io:8123

I suspect it may be a configuration / installation issue, but I can’t cure it!

Can anyone help me?

Hi @Peter_Bradbury

I’m getting same error, maybe it’s a coincidence, but started after moving from 0.69.1 to 0.70 Hassio.

There is now a specific sub category for Node-Red, probably you should move this thread there, it’s under Third party Integrations -> Node-Red

You are supposed to be connecting to your local install, not hassio.io (Unless you own that domain?)

Thanks, for pointing that out. I must have left that in when I was failing to get duckdns to work.

Now removed and the error of course, is gone.
