HI, I am running Ubuntu from a USB on an HP thin client. I have installed VMware Workstation 17 and that works. I have put the .vmdk file for VMware from this site onto the USB and then followed [https://ngfblog.com/blog/home-assistant-on-vmware/ There is a new virtual machine listed but when I click on it there is a flash of an error message (goes away too quickly to read) and VMware shuts down. The error log is long but I can included it if that would help.
