I recently started using the Fully Kiosk Browser / Home Assistant on my Fire HD 8 and wanted to create an automation that calls up the camera stream as soon as the doorbell rings.
However, if I use the “camera.play_stream” service with the destination Fully Kiosk or the Fire HD and the following message appears on the tablet: “Failed loading sound: Wrong URL or unsupported format?”
I have a Nabu Casa license and have linked my Home Assistant instance to the Nabu Casa URL. I read in another post that the solution would be under Network → Local Network → Automatic. I have set this up, but the error still occurs.
If I call up the camera manually via the devices, I can watch the stream without any problems.
Edit: the same problem occurs if the automation is only supposed to play an .mp3 file that is stored locally. The automation works with any other speaker.
