ESP Home CO Sensor (MQ7) heater mod as product?

Hi there,

I am trying to build an ESPhome CO-Sensor (carbon monoxide).
I tried to do the heater mod (MQ-7 Carbon Monoxide Sensor | devices.esphome.io) but this is far beyond my abilities.

Is there a way to get a “ready to use” co-sensor for ESPhome? Am I missing any other sensor to achieve this goal in an easier way?

Thank you for your input
Benedikt

I made a custom PCB for the heater mode (GitHub - fablab-paderborn/mq7-adapter-board: MQ7 Adapter Board). While that still requires SMD soldering, it is much easier than doing the mode on the existing module. The PCB can be ordered from JLPCB or similar for just a few bucks. You could probably also very easily order a version with all the SMD components already in place from jlpcb for a few more Euros.
